Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice (fresh)
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1½ tbsp sugar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 small red chilli, finely chopped (optional)
  • 2–3 tbsp water (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve sugar in lime juice, vinegar, and water.
  2. Stir in fish sauce, garlic, and chilli.
  3. Taste and adjust — more sugar for sweetness, water to mellow.
  4. Serve with salads, grilled meats, or noodle bowls.
