Instructions

  1. Mix warm milk an discard together in bowl.
  2. Melt butter (for the dough) in 15 second burst in microwave.
  3. Add egg and butter (for the dough) to the milk & discard.
  4. Mix in four, salt, baking powder and baking soda until shaggy dough forms. Cover and rest for 20-30mins.
  5. Uncover and knead for 5 minutes. Rest for another 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 180°c.
  7. Melt butter (for the dough) in 15 second burst in microwave, mix together with Vegemite.
  8. Roll out dough into square.
  9. Spread Vegemite mixture across dough & sprinkle the cheese evenly (save some for topping).
  10. Cut up dough into 12 strips (a pizza cutter is good for this) & roll each up.
  11. Place on oven tray evenly and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  12. Bake covered at 180°c for 10 mins.
  13. Remove lid and bake for a further 10 mins.
