Mars Bar Slice

Ingredients

  • 180g of Mars Bars, chopped
  • 90g unsalted butter
  • 3 cups Rice Bubbles (puffed rice cereal)
  • 200g milk chocolate, chopped or chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare a slice tin (approximately 18x28cm) by greasing and lining with baking paper.
  2. Melt Mars Bars and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring continuously until smooth. Add golden syrup if using.
  3. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the Rice Bubbles until well coated.
  4. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared tin using the back of a spoon or spatula.
  5. Melt the chocolate gently in a microwave or over a double boiler until smooth.
  6. Pour the melted chocolate over the slice and spread evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until set.
  8. Slice into squares or bars using a warm knife for clean cuts. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
